This article goes over how to setup a program, create an event tied to that program, and assign locations to the effort.
The first step to kicking off a new verification effort, whether it be surveys, field verification, or potholing, is to create the program in 120Water so you have a centralized spot to store all your data associated with your program.

Note: There are a couple fields related to sampling programs that you'll disregard or put in placeholder/dummy information for. We've got a product enhancement logged so these fields will only show up for sampling programs and not verification programs, but it has not been completed yet.
