💬 Adding and Managing Comments

Comments are designed to make collaboration easier by keeping all discussion tied directly to the submission record.
To Add a Comment
- Open the Customer Notice Certification submission you’re reviewing.
- Click the three dot menu on the far right side of the row.
- Enter your message—for example, note missing documentation or a correction needed in the next submission.
- Click Post Comment.
Your comment will immediately appear in the thread for both State and PWS users to see.
How Comments Work
- State and PWS users can add comments at any time after a submission has been submitted.
- Each comment includes the author’s name and timestamp for audit tracking.
- Use comments to request additional information / clarification or flag issues that should be corrected in the next submission.
- Note: As of now, users are not notified when a comment has been added to a submission however, this feature is actively being worked on and will be added to the platform in the future.

Replies remain threaded within the submission, making it easy to follow the discussion history throughout the lifecycle of the submission.
Tracking Compliance
From the Customer Notice Certification tab, you can:
- View all systems’ submission statuses (Submitted, Under Review, Approved)
- Use filters to segment the table down to specific results, and then export reports to monitor statewide completion rates and create a custom report
- Identify systems that have not yet submitted their annual certification
