This article will walk through the process of setting up your State PTD and demonstrate how users will navigate the webiste.
What is State PTD?
The State Public Transparency Dashboard is a map-based tool that allows state agencies to share important water quality information with the public. By collecting and displaying submitted and accepted data from water systems across the state, this dashboard lets residents easily access details about their water service lines. The public can also find customer support contact details and any other information provided by the water system. It’s designed to build trust and keep everyone informed while also helping state agencies streamline information for compliance efforts. The State PTD makes it simple for both regulators and the public to stay updated and engaged.
To prepare for the launch of your State Public Transparency Dashboard, below is a guide and outline of things to consider to make sure you're prepared for publishing data to the public. Review these items, discuss internally as needed, and make note of your plans as you move through the list. Once completed, you’ll be ready to update your settings and publish PTD for consumers across the State.
