Submission Period Management is here!
- We are in the final phase of releasing Submission Period Management, which will give you the ability to have more control over your future Submission Periods. The primary features include the ability to:
-
- Create new Submission Periods in the platform
- Customize default Overdue calculations across Submission Periods
- Handle edge-cases by manually removing the Overdue marker from a single Submission

PTD Updates- PWS PTD Links can now be viewed on the Utility Details page if that particular PWS chose to set one up through 120Water.
- While viewing the State PTD from a mobile device, you'll notice a smoother, more consistent experience than before.
- State PTD now displays the entire material classification of the service line being viewed instead of just the material type for each portion.
2/19/2025
- Now as State users are managing Inventory Submissions, you are able to move
accepted submissions back to a voided/rejected status without needing to contact
120Water. - When viewing the Utilities page, you can now easily see which utilities are
Active/Inactive PWS accounts. No more digging through emails to find which PWS was
marked Inactive! - When viewing a utility's responses to the Customer Certification Form, users can now
download the responses from an individual utility. No more screenshotting! - We made sweeping improvements to all tables in State Dashboard including frozen
header rows, improvements to horizontal scrolling, and a sticky first column to keep
context in place. We hope these quality of life improvements make a big difference in the user experience!
2/5/2025
- When exporting from the submission details page in State Dashboard, the download
now includes the methodology questions & responses in the export file. No more
screenshotting to get those answers out of the system!
1/21/2025
- We’ve expanded our export capabilities for our State Dashboard Users. While we
encourage our users to engage with the platform as much as possible, we recognize the
significant value in allowing you to export information out as well. We’ve added the
following exports:
- Utility Export: allows users to export the table from the utilities page
- Submission Detail Export: allows users to export the individual submissions from a Utility
- We added the ability for users to bulk select utilities from the submissions page and unpublish their data from the State PTD in one fell swoop, saving you time and clicks.
12/20/2024
- Users can now export all the data from the Submissions Table. This is great for being able to slice and dice your data however you'd like!
11/19/2024
- Saved Views are now also available on the Submission page in State Dashboard! This
feature has been really valuable on the Utilities page, and we wanted to extend this
functionality into other parts of the platform. - Users are now able to delete territories on their own within the State Dashboard and no longer have to contact 120Water support.
- The Submission List table is now able to be filtered by submitted date so users can see submissions within certain date ranges.

Enhancements to State PTD
- Users can now download inventory data from State PTD into a .csv file for their desired water system. This allows individuals to get the full picture of service lines in their communities! When configuring this feature in State PTD settings, state users can now choose which submission status to allow for download (e.g., submitted, accepted, etc.).
10/22/2024
- Annual Notice Certification Form Review & Status
State Partners can now review customer notice certification form submissions alongside service line inventory data in one place! Users can filter, accept/reject submissions, and check out details like distribution methods, notice examples, and more.

State Public Transparency Dashboard (PTD)
- The State Public Transparency Dashboard is a map-based tool that allows state agencies to share important water quality information with the public. By collecting and displaying submitted and accepted data from water systems across the state, this dashboard lets residents easily access details about their water service lines and overall water safety. The public can also find customer support contact details and any other information provided by the water system. It’s designed to build trust and keep everyone informed while also helping state agencies streamline information for compliance efforts.

Territory Management
- Territory Management is now live! State Dashboard users can now create and assign water systems to territories within the platform. Many states break down their geography into territories and assign roles and responsibilities based on these regions. State Dashboard now supports this strategy, and users can view and filter data by territories. Territories have been embedded all across the platform, including the submission details page, the utility list page, and the top of the Utilities table screen.
New Default View
- We've updated the default view on the Inventory table to Current Submission Data and Status. It had previously been defaulting to our sandbox.
7/16/2024
Attachment Downloads
- Users can now download submission attachments by clicking the download button next to the service line in the submission table.
7/2/2024
Permission Updates
- A NEW read only permission is now an available option to designate for users in State Dashboard.
Filtering and Column Improvements
- We made several State Dashboard filter and column changes to enhance the user experience and make things cleaner/more logical. Updates include:
- Status filter no longer available on Utilities page
- Service Line Connections removed from filter options
- Change the table name option now is simplified to “Submitted By”
- Material Classification now reads EPA Material Classification in the table
- Status has been added as an option to the submission service lines table filter. Users can now filter the submission table by statuses such as “in service” “abandoned”, etc.
