A guide to the redesigned Locations and Assets pages in PWS/120Water Utility.
Overview
We have updated the core pages in your 120Water account to make managing your inventory faster and easier. The Locations and Assets pages have a new look, with cleaner layouts, better-organized information, and tools that help you find and update records more quickly.
These changes are designed to reduce the time it takes to manage your service line data, especially as you work toward your 2027 inventory submission.
What Changed
Locations Page
The Locations page is where you manage your service addresses. Here is what is new:
- Cleaner table layout that is easier to scan at a glance
- Faster load times, even for large inventories with thousands of records
- Improved sorting and filtering so you can quickly find the records you need
- Better visibility into which fields are incomplete or need attention
Assets Page
The Assets page is where you view and update the details for each service line. Updates include:
- A streamlined layout that puts the most important information front and center
- Clearer editing flows so making changes takes fewer clicks
- Easier access to related items like connectors, verification status, interactions, and attachments, all from one place
How to Navigate the Updated Pages
- From the top menu, select Locations to open your list of service addresses.
- Use the search bar or filter options at the top to find a specific record or group of records.
- Click on any location to open the detail view, where you will find the associated asset information.
- From the asset detail view, you can edit material data, review verification status, log interactions, and manage connectors, all without leaving the location.
Tip 💡 If you are training a new team member, the updated pages are a great starting point. The clearer layout and labeled fields make it easier to get up to speed quickly.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will my existing data look different?
Your data is the same. Only the way it is displayed has changed. All records, materials, and history are still there.
Do I need to do anything to activate the new design?
No action is needed on your part. The updated pages are available automatically when you log in.
I cannot find a feature I used before. What should I do?
Most features are still available. They may just be in a slightly different location. If you are having trouble finding something, reach out to the 120Water support team!
