How to Add Service Lines to Locations in 120Water

Here is a Step by Step Guide to Importing Service Lines for Your Locations in 120Water

If you have existing locations in your 120Water account but no service lines associated with them, you can easily add service lines using the export and import process. Follow these steps:

  1. Export Locations:

    • Go to the Locations tab and click the Export button in the top right corner of the table.
    • Your export will begin processing. To view its status, navigate to Data Management > Export Log by either clicking the provided link or using the gear icon in the top right corner.
    • Once the export is marked as Completed, click the Download button and note the file name (e.g., "122 Locations Export").
  2. Import Service Lines:

    • Go to the Inventory tab and select Import Service Lines.
    • Choose Locations and Service Lines, then click Upload File.
    • Ensure that Enable Address Matching is not toggled on, and select Create and Update Records.
    • Click Next, browse for the exported file you downloaded, and upload it.
  3. Finish and Update:

    • After uploading, click Next, then Finish.
    • Your locations will now be enriched with service lines, allowing you to update material classifications as needed.
