Email Notifications in PWS Portal
Overview
120Water will automatically send you emails to help you stay on top of your submissions and deadlines. These notifications are turned on by default for all utility accounts and are sent from support@120water.com to the email address on file in your profile.
Types of Email Notifications
Submission Confirmation When your submission has been received by your State Primacy Agency, you'll get a confirmation email. It includes details like the submission type, date, submission ID, current status, and who submitted it.
Submission Status Changes Any time your submission status is updated by the State Primacy Agency, you'll get an email letting you know. It shows both the old status and the new one so you always know what was updated. Status changes that trigger this email include Accepted, Rejected, and Voided.
Submission Comments Added If your State Primacy Agency leaves a comment on your submission, you'll be notified right away. Each email includes a link, so you can jump in and respond directly through the portal.
Deadline Reminders You'll get 2 reminders before a submission deadline: one at 30 days out and another at 7 days out. These only send if you haven't submitted yet.
Overdue Submission Nudges If a deadline passes and you still haven't submitted, you'll get an email at 1 day overdue and again at 30 days overdue. These emails have an "Action Required" subject line so they're easy to spot.
Managing Your Email Preferences
You can update which emails you receive at any time. Here's how:
- Click the Profile icon in the top right corner.
- Select Profile Settings.
- Scroll to Email Preferences.
- Check or uncheck the notification types you want, or use the Unsubscribe from all emails toggle to turn everything off.

Your preferences only apply to your account and won't impact anyone else at your organization.
